About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Scaffolding Inspector to ensure the safety, compliance, and quality of all scaffolding structures at our project sites. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in scaffolding inspection and safety standards.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect all scaffolding materials and structures before, during, and after use to ensure safety and compliance with standards (e.g., OSHA, BS EN, or local codes).
Verify that scaffolds are erected and dismantled by certified personnel following approved designs and method statements.
Conduct daily, weekly, and ad-hoc scaffold inspections and maintain accurate inspection records.
Tag scaffolds appropriately (Safe/Unsafe/Under Construction) based on inspection findings.
Identify and report unsafe practices or non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate with site supervisors, safety officers, and scaffolding teams to ensure compliance with safety requirements.
Assist in training workers on scaffold safety awareness and best practices.
Participate in incident investigations related to scaffolding if required.
Ensure proper storage, maintenance, and quality of scaffolding components.
