About the Role
Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, procedures, and programs in line with statutory requirements.
Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments regularly.
Identify potential hazards and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
Deliver safety training and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
Ensure compliance with fire safety, occupational health, and industrial safety norms.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases; prepare reports and recommend preventive measures.
Coordinate with management and regulatory bodies on safety-related matters.
Maintain safety records, permits, and statutory documentation.
Promote a proactive safety culture within the workplace.
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced Senior Safety Officer with a strong background in industrial safety practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with statutory safety regulations, implementing best safety practices, and creating a safe work environment across the organization.
Education: ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety) – Mandatory.
Experience: Minimum 10+ years in Industrial/Construction/Manufacturing safety roles.
Strong knowledge of OSHA, Factories Act, and other relevant safety standards.
Proven ability to handle emergency situations and implement corrective measures.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
